ENCALS 2026 brings together the global ALS research community in Madrid

From 24 to 26 June, ENCALS 2026 took place in Madrid. A three-day international conference that brings together researchers working in the field of ALS, providing a platform to present and discuss the latest scientific findings. Sharing research results and building new collaborations are essential for accelerating scientific progress. This year, nearly 900 participants from 45 countries attended the conference.
The scientific programme featured dozens of presentations covering a wide range of topics, including genetics, cognition and biomarkers. In addition, more than 400 scientific posters were presented, and there were many opportunities for networking and exchanging ideas.
We look back on three inspiring days filled with new insights, promising research findings and valuable discussions with colleagues from around the world. See you next year in Lübeck, Germany!
