The ENCALS meeting 2019 was held 15-17 May in Tours. Prof. Philippe Corcia of the University Francois Rabelais of Tours was the local organizer of this great meeting.
The venue for the ENCALS meeting 2019 in Tours was the Vinci International Congress Centre. This impressive building is close both to the station and to the City Hall, where the conference dinner was held.

Abstracts
A total of 200 abstracts was submitted and all have been reviewed by the ENCALS Programme Committee.
Poster award for PhD students
All posters with a PhD student as first and presenting author were reviewed by members of the Award Committee for the PhD poster awards. Therefore, all PhD students presenting a poster were requested to attend the PhD poster award session on the last day of the conference.
